I'm sure that this is an absolutely horrifying thought for many of you: it's entirely possible that I may not post for a whole week. ;) Naturally, I'm thrilled about this because the reason is that I'm going to England! One of my 2nd cousins is getting married, and so my mom and I are going for the wedding. My brother and has family are also going, and since they live in Moscow, Russia it will be a great chance to see them since we don't get to see them that much.
I may have Internet access sporadically, and if I have a chance I'll post one of those annoying "I'm here and seeing all of these really cool things and you're not!" posts. My BitWise partners will keep the ship afloat while I'm gone, but there's no major work planned so everything should just be smooth sailing as usual. I'll be returning early next week and will of course resume normal operations, and maybe I'll even scan a picture or two to share. :)
Do I feel guilty leaving? Absolutely not. This is my first vacation in three years, and as hard as it is for everyone, I know you will all survive until I return. ;)
Kevin,
WOOOHOO! A well deserved guilt free vacation!! Have a great trip!! I was born in London, England back in '54 and spent the first 10 years of my youth between France and Italy. I't great to be overseas and get a fresh perspective on life. Now what on earth will you do with all the 'free time.' Enjoy!! Enjoy!! Enjoy!!

Just getting ready to head to the airport... thanks for the well-wishes. As far as the free time, I think I'm just going to enjoy not having anything pressing to do! :) It's going to be a bit strange, not coming in and checking my email and sorting wx-mail and catching up on the forums... but you know what? It'll all be here when I come back. :)
haha, whenever i spend more than 24hours away from my computer, i end up spending 1hr just "catching up"
this year when i went for vacation, i spent a record 7days away from my computer, i've havent spent that much time away from my computer in years. anyway, when i got back it took me an entire day to "catch up".
