I would urge you to notice that comments must now be approved, so no one is seeing your spam comments because they are being deleted before made publicly available. I hope that you possess enough brain cells to stop wasting your time. What's going on? My blog was just hit (massively, I might add) recently as well --- about once every 7 minutes, to be precise. Even just having to delete them from the moderation queue has been a real pain.
This all started about 2 days ago, and it's not been letting up much since. I can't figure out if it's automated or not... sometimes a bunch are from the same IP but with different messages, sometimes a bunch of the same message is posted from a bunch of different IPs. It is rather weird.
As with most spam things, it hopefully is a cycle and will cycle out soon. :)
if it is automated, you would have one of those images .."type this in"...u know :P
but then again it could be a person..im glad you decided to moderate it instead of creating a user login. logins are very big detterants for most people, because the process takes too long :p
