I can't believe that my recent post about the "aoeuaoeuaoeuaoeu" message has become one of the most commented-on posts. Does that mean that the posts with real content are boring? :(
Anyway, I wanted to clear up the mystery, but instead of directly clearing it up, the title of this message is a rather significant clue.
If you know the answer, put the first letter of the answer/reason in a comment. That way we'll know if you were right or not. I'll post the answer on Sunday (the 6th).
On another personal note, the wxWidgets book manuscript due date was pushed back to Monday the 7th, so we got to spend a little more time tweaking it this week. While this consumed some time I hadn't been expecting to spend on the book, the book is significantly better off for it. Much like anything else, it's the polish at the end that turns an otherwise excellent, but dull, item into something really shiny and exciting.

Exactly why i think you should send stuff like that more often, it will get you publicity :-)
Imagine if one of the major chat networks sent "aoeu" msg to everyone....it would be talked about quite a bit :P
Of course, I'm kidding, you don't want to annoy people.
I use the Dvorak keyboard layout, where the four leftmost keys in the home row under the left hand are aoeu, the keys labeled asdf on the Qwerty keyboard. :)
