First peek of the new web site

Many of you have been wondering what the new web site will look like. Here's a shot of the new front page (click for full size):

Some things to note:

• There are three site themes, for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. Each theme has its own color, orange, green, and blue, respectively, and each theme will have its own screenshots.
  
• The news items are readable simply by clicking on the blurb, which will expand the item in-place.
  
• The screenshot will be recomposed and recreated; the one there is a placeholder made by cropping an existing screenshot.
  
• The navbar items have a rollover shadow effects.
  
• We already know about the slight color problem in the navbar between the images and the background color. :)
  
• The web services menu shows as a smaller menu below the navbar when you are logged in.
  

Very different from what we have now. What are your reactions?

I like the icons for the navigation

That looks great, much better. Much, much less, erm, cluttered.

Looks awesome. Much more professional and appears easy to navigate.
