The first week of May is going to be one of the most important weeks in BitWise history. Here's the plan:
Big item #1: On May 2nd, we plan to switch over to the new web site. The old site will be programmed to redirect to the new site, with many pages having specific redirect targets (for example, trying to reach the old download page will take you to the new download page), while secondary pages will simply direct to the home page. The downloads will remain available from the old site for a while, as will the web bugs.
Big item #2: On May 5th (05/05/05), BitWise 1.0.4 will be released for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. To go along with this release, we will also be updating the Routing Server with a few bug fixes.
It will be a busy week then, but quite exciting. From Sunday to Saturday, the BitWise world will be, for lack of a better word, overhauled.
In the meantime, the new site still needs some updating, mostly in the documentation, and some additional testing and verification, especially in the Web Services. We are also developing and expanding our backend tools at this time. Lastly, we are doing bug fixes to the client since 1.0.4 Beta 3 (there have been a few, but not many), and working out the last kinks in wxMac.
And on top of it all, I've managed to proofread the 700 page wxWidgets book. Have I mentioned that I thrive on insanity? :)
Eh, I'm sure by the 330th page you started skimming. ;) Keep it up!
