One of the tasks for the new web site was integrating the navigation of the site into the phpBB forums. I did this a while ago, and the result was functional, but not completely satisfactory. The navbar colors clashed with the default theme, the navbar "shifted" a bit between the forums and the other pages, and the shadow had to be removed for the integration not to look really bad. So, basically, it looked... bad.
After realizing that the new site "release" is only days away, I decided that this really needed to be addressed. I went back to the phpBB page and thought I'd see if I could find a better theme to go with our site. I found a theme that almost looked like it was made for the site; it matches the look and feel of the site, and even the icons look like they belong with the other icon set. Even the navbar shadow goes well! Check it out! I never thought it would work so well. What a nice surprise. :)
Just a few more days now... only a few more things to check off...
