Do you ever create something, stand back from it, and say, "Wow, that's brilliant! How can anyone not like that?" Then, you learn some people don't like it, and then a few years later you look at the same thing and say, "What the !$*@& was I thinking?"
Yeah, that happened today. It took someone browbeating me about how terrible it was before I realized it, but thank you. You know whe you are. :)
Here's the new Add Contact / Group window:

No more horrid tab ordering. No more shared text box. No more confusion. New groups are added by selecting an item in the dropdown "Add New Group..." which creates a popup. Sometimes simple is way better than clever.
So here's my plea: if something's really rotten, don't wait two years to speak up. BitWise users worldwide will thank you.
i'll be honest, i saw this screenshot and thought that this was the original, then i tried to find the difference. i had to open up bitwise and compare the windows side by side to see it. i get it, i see the changes made. i also like this new keyboard i am typing on..its not mine, but the keys have a nice bounce to them and i can type way faster on this keyboard...anyway. i actually thought the other "add contact" dialog was very logical. was i the only one to think this?
The tab ordering didn't make any sense, for one thing. Second, you add contacts way more than you add groups. And third, the captions weren't very helpful.
The old one was probably logical because you were used to it; I was used to it too. But it was a frequent sore point when talking to people.
