Aside from Miami being a totally awesome school, there is another motive for today's drivel. When all of you fellow Miami grads get your Summer 2006 edition of the Miamian, be sure to flip over to page 42 and check out yours truly listed on the First Editions: Miamians in print page. Look at the bottom-right of the page and you'll see a [hopefully] familiar book cover that looks like the one on the left pane of my blog. Throwing a bit of humility to the wind, I am quite proud of how much younger I am than many of the other authors (who graduated in the 60s, 70s and 80s).
OK, I'm done tooting my own horn now, and you can all freely roll your eyes.
